Happy Spring Everyone!

I love this time of year - the sun is out, and the birds are singing. Plans are being made for next season - our 30th! On Friday, May 20th the Studio will gather in-person for our annual Curtains Up event, and as a Studio East supporter, we would love you to be part of this exclusive preview of our 30th Anniversary season and fundraiser.

Each spring for the last 15+ years, we have gathered to announce Studio East’s upcoming Mainstage season. The evening always includes tasty hors d’oeuvres (this year from Lynn’s Bistro!), my famous pomegranate martinis, wonderful wine, and season previews and entertainment by our gifted alumni, current students, and faculty. We conclude the night with opportunities for supporters to sponsor any of our new titles.

You can sponsor as many shows as you want at a Presenting, Artistic, or Technical level, and each production can have more than one sponsor. Each sponsorship level includes its own benefits such as billing on show graphics, tickets to shows, behind the scenes access, and of course the knowledge that your gift is helping stand up these productions for youth to grow and learn in the performing arts. 

There are many ways to support in addition to sponsoring! You can set up a recurring monthly donation, become a corporate sponsor, or make a one-time donation. All levels of support are greatly appreciated as your gift will enable us to continue to create confident, compassionate, responsible young people.  

So, please mark your calendars for Friday, May 20th and join us at Studio East in downtown Kirkland from 5:30pm-8pm. Come ready to sip, socialize, and support Studio East’s exciting 30th Anniversary season!
